A firewall and a newer browser would go a long way. It makes me wonder what newer browsers would actually work, though.
Most modern sites probably wouldn’t load properly in browsers from this era and it’s unlikely that much is targeting them anymore. Herd immunity would help with the old school worms and viruses that they were susceptible to, as well.
